LOL at how many people said the Chiefs weren’t going to make it, I knew they would improve and be a strong team again, even I didn’t see it coming how strong their defense has been in a lot of games but they are immensely talented, I can’t believe 10 people said they wouldn’t make the playoffs.
The playoffs haven't started yet. As of today, I don't think anyone has clinched a playoff birth but it looks like the Chiefs will make it. Hell, they might even finish with the top seed.
Sure, I said they wouldn't make it but they looked like crap when I said that. Teams were scoring almost at will against their defense and Mahomes looked like he'd never played QB in the NFL.
Biggest turnaround I've seen in a while in the NFL. We shall see how they far they can get in the playoffs. I've noticed that Mahomes has pretty much stopped all the fancy passes over the last 4 or 5 weeks and it looks like it has helped a lot. We'll see if he can keep up. I know deep down he wants to do it.. lol...
To be honest, I haven't seen very many of their trick plays either. If they want to win it all this year, it looks like they'll have to do it without showing off.

To be honest, I haven't seen very many of their trick plays either. If they want to win it all this year, it looks like they'll have to do it without showing off. It's pretty save to say they will make it, but if they are the favorite to win the Super Bowl as Nick Wright says...the Chargers game was too close for comfort. Unlike the Bucs, they never could dominate the Chargers. The Bucs got idle, but then they had still enough clutch to bring it home. But in this case the victory was handed over to the Chiefs. If the Chargers hadn't been that stupid to go several times for a 4th down, they would have won. The statistics might indicate that going for a 4th down will bring more success and thus points, but is that really so? A two point conversion has the advantage to be close enough for a QB sneak (and the options which go along with it), while a 4th down not close enough for a sneak, has the huge disadvantage of a small area and thus a compact defense. So a two conversion or a fourth down in the open field are completely different animals and thus have completely different success rates than a 4th down in a stacked red zone. I'm all in for a fourth down when the team is in the opponent's half and the alternative is a punt, but if you can make points, put them on the board. Football is all about making yards, ok, and yet: yards < points.
