This game could be one of the best games of the season. I think the Cardinals have a slight edge from being at home and most of their key players will be ready.
We'll see if Rodgers can play at such a high level without Adams. And can the Cards get any pressure on Rodgers without Watt? Many things to consider in this one.
Should be a good game, I'll take the Cards in a close one.
Final score 31-30

J.J. Watt is probably gone for the season, D. Hopkins might not play tonight. All of a sudden this game is riddled with injuries.

I made a bet on the Packers...I don't trust the Cardinals, and every series is destined to end sooner or later. I don't see a 17-0 spell for the Cardinals, and the Packers might be the team that will end the series.

Now there is a report DeAndre Hopkins just might play. 100% fit? Or was it some COVID BS?

Now there is a report DeAndre Hopkins just might play. 100% fit? Or was it some COVID BS? Don't think it was COVID. I think it is a hamstring injury. ----------------------------- Is DeAndre Hopkins playing on Thursday night? Fantasy injury update for Packers-Cardinals Week 8 Thursday Night Football UPDATE: ESPN's Adam Schefter reported Thursday afternoon that Hopkins is expected to play on Thursday night. There's no definitive answer at this point to whether Hopkins (hamstring) will play, but CardsWire of USA Today sports figures he "will certainly play". How many times have we seen veteran WRs go without practice yet still play and play well when game day rolls around. Hopkins himself did it back in Week 3. This feels like a similar situation, but you never know until things are official. www.sportingnews.com/us/fantasy/news/is-deandre-hopkins-playing-on-thursday-night-fantasy-injury-update-for-packers-cardinals-week-8-thursday-night-football/19czdq0u18biz1aqmp2fk5z8zb

Wow, a good Thursday night matchup? someone slipped up here. Philadelphia and Detroit more TNF's speed
I hate the Cards black unis. The Red jerseys are awesome. They are the Cardinals, actually named after the color of their jerseys, not the bird.

Cards score first, on a TD run by Edmonds after a long Murray to Hopkins pass, and itβs 7-0 Cards.

Packers respond with a TD drive as Jones runs it in, 7-7 game now.

What an epic fuck up by the Cards, not jumping on the ball after it touched the returner. Packers have the ball at the 1.

Down the middle for Mason Crosby, unlike three out of four consecutive 4Q/OT attempts in Cincinnati.

Packers lead it 10-7 at halftime, defensive battle so far, Packers only lead because of the punt miscue, while the Cards have really only had one big play. I expect to see more offense in the second half, and whichever defense stays strong and doesnβt give up big plays is going to be the team that wins.
