I'm rather curious about the original, it is one of (if not the most) divisive film between critics and filmgoers (7.7 on IMDB, 23% on RT), maybe I'll check it out.

Guys at my fraternity house watched 5 movies over and over: Boondock Saints, Poolhall Junkies, Green Street Hooligans, Rounders and Halloween 4: The Return of Michael Myers, oh, and the first season of Prison Break. Those DVD's were always sitting around the TV. I just associate Boondock Saints with the smell of beer, cigarette smoke and bleach. That's my review of Boondock Saints.

I always got the fact that Boondocks Saints was always a great movie that people liked except for critics, but it was the 2nd movie which EVERYONE hated including the fans of the first.
I’m not against a 3rd movie, but do we really need it?
