I'm curious as I'm a fan of Jake Gyllenhaal who may never see the movie as I don't watch Marvel movies anymore. I know it was a dream come true for Gyllenhaal so I'm happy for him too.

Yeah he was good. Why don't you watch Marvel movies anymore?
I was good for a while but then there was so many and I mainly lost interest as I felt the films lacked visual style and technical direction (a la Sam Raimi). They are easier to see now for me, as I pay a SKY movie channel subscription so I might do some catching up. I'm not a comic book reader in general, but my older sister is a lifelong comic book geek.

It was kind of an underwritten filler villain, but he was still probably the most entertaining thing in Far From Home.
