Share some of your travels....
I know, co-vid, but hopefully that's easing up.

No, but it has more to do with extreme social anxiety and OCD more than it does with not having interest.
The most I have traveled is from my home state to Florida (20 hour drive) when I was 8 years old.
I have never been on a plane and will never get on a plane. I would probably have an anxiety attack in the airport and it could be potentially dangerous for me to be on a plane. I get very uncomfortable and unpredictable in unfamiliar situations.

Homebody because of circumstances which make travel impossible.

Used to be, in my youth.
These days, I'm a recluse.
I haven't been away on an overnight trip since Obama was president.

I used to travel a lot as a kid, because my parents were really into travelling. Some people envied me, but the thing is sometimes I really wished we could've stayed home for Christmas at least, because I didn't really like spending it somewhere far away from home.
I was only 5 years old when we first went to Thailand. That was back in the days before it became a popular destination. I think there were only a few hotels in Phuket at that time, but then it changed rapidly of course in a very short time.
From then it was all over the world: Canary Islands, Egypt, Turkey, Kenya, Morocco, Mexico, Belize, Guatemala, Myanmar, Sri Lanka, Hongkong, Singapore, Indonesia, Nepal...
As an adult I didn't travel as frequently, but still did about 2 trips a year.
I travelled to Syria in 2005 and back then it didn't really look like a country on the verge of civil war. I even met some German students who did a term abroad at the University of Damascus, So yeah, pretty shocking that a few years later it would turn into a war zone.
The last time I travelled outside Europe was in early 2019 when I did a Nile cruise in Egypt.
Ever since Covid broke out I've been homebound.

At heart, I'm a Life is an adventure ... gotta go!
I retired several years ago, so the freedom was mine. Of course, Covid has clipped a lot of wings. I've taken some driving multi-day visits to places in this region, since last June. And, I took the train to visit some school friends in Oregon, last spring.
I really don't want to do long flights, and deal with two airports, as long as the mask requirement is in place. However, more and more of my friends are resuming those plans, and I'm thinking that I might "cave," before the requirement is lifted.
Three of us have been planning a trip to The Republic of Ireland, and to Scotland, for 3 years. The first year, one friend's husband developed heart problems, so it was postponed (he's OK). Then she took a fall and injured her knee. NOTHING was going to stop us in 2020!!! Hello, Covid. If we can do it early next summer, I'll capitulate, as long as there isn't a threat of having to do a period of quarantine. We'll see.
I'm turning my thoughts to a U.S. coast-to-coast train trip. IF you have a roomette, you can be mask-free "at home," and the stations aren't nearly the hassle that airports are.

I'm backpacker, so yes, I am (was?) big into travel. Back in ye olden days BC (Before Covid), I usually went on trips lasting for several months at a time. I was trying to get my traveling done before my self imposed deadline of March 2020. So, the pandemic happened right on schedule for me, and I've been busy working on other things. I didn't quite get all of my traveling done, due to family dramas, so I may still do a trip or two once the pandemic is finally over, although I don't anticipate that I'll be traveling as much as I did before. I've found that travel has diminishing returns. The first trips are the most incredible and awe inspiring. After that, the culture shock wears off until you finally get to the point where you feel like you've seen everything before. Everything gets boring after a while, and when it does, maybe it's time to focus on something else.

Thanks for sharing that moviemouth. Have you sought help for the OCD?, not the travel thing necessarily I think I have a little OCD myself. I'm not sure if it's superstition or a bit of both, or are they connected anyway?

Although there are ways to make it cheaper,,,, hostels. Europe's amazing for travel though. So many different countries just a hop skip and jump. Canada takes days to get out of.
