The idea that all movies made now are inherently bad is … Not the point made in the video. It doesn't moan about everything modern being bad, only the title does this for clickbait purposes. The video itself focuses on a particular genre of mass pleasing junk that has moved from "trying to educate them" to "fuck it, let's just give them whatever they feel like wanking about, helpless dependent fools are more likely to vote us into office and we'll get to fuck them cheaper".

Wonderful video. I agree with every word. Some of the replies suggest that there are still good movies. That's right but they depend on a good script written by an adult for other adults. Also, they are not the movies that make 80 gazillion dollars over opening weekend. Haha so a movie is good movie to you if it falls at the box office on opening weekend. Is that how you interpreted Mike’s post? He was referring to movies that appeal to the masses, like the Marvel stuff that make big dollars while some movies with more depth and intelligence don’t do as well at the box office but are better movies. |

He was referring to movies that appeal to the masses, like the Marvel stuff that make big dollars while some movies with more depth and intelligence don’t do as well at the box office but are better movies. Star Wars fans should really stay out of discussions about depth and intelligence in movies. Mike didn't really elaborate.
