An additional comment about the two.
I kind of think of Alfred Hitchcock as being like some of the finest possible brandy. Kubrick, however, is like one of those drinks you light on fire, blow it out, and it tastes like whatever you imagine.

The winner would be Stanley Kubrick, but I forgot to vote before the poll expired. I mistakenly was thinking I set it to end at 12am Thursday.
I did miss my chance to vote though, so it is technically a tie.
