So round, so firm, so fully-packed. Dorothy Collins would no doubt approve.

It's so hard to think that some still believe it's flat in this day and age. I know someone who thinks it's only 6000 years old.

I was raised evangelical but was a big dinosaur nerd so I believed in evolution, to my family's chagrin. I think a good chunk of the population are in the same boat as we are so far as knowing that creationist(s).

The answer is no but i am going to say yes in the poll just for the hell of it.
But the answer is of course the earth is round and people have known this since Ancient times. I mean you have to be a complete idiot to think otherwise.

Long time ago, when caveman ruled the world and have not discovered other lands, they thought the Earth was just a flat world that would go on forever or there was some kind of "edge" where if you traveled too far, you can fall off and die. Fast forward about 100,000 years later, modern humans have not only discovered every sea and land, but also went to space and created GPS technology from orbiting artificial satellites. We went from creating a wheel to flying airplanes. We went from manipulating fire to inventing the light bulb. We went from hunting and gathering to farming, agriculture, and the industrial revolution. So many things happened, so many advances in technology and wisdom. And yet even with all this knowledge about science and geography and history etc..., there exist cavemen who still believe the Earth is flat. Amazing, isn't it!

It's round, I know it seems flat, and it doesn't seem like it is rotating, but it's round, and it's rotating round the sun.

Yep, the earth is flat, that is why when we continuously travel in one direction we end up where we started. Sheeezz.
