I remember an Australian politician named Natasha Stott Despoja who was quite similar to AOC: young, naive, hopelessly idealistic, well left of centre and she was coming with the other Young Tykes from her party (also called the Democrats but only a minor party in Australia) to change the world. Needless to say, she didn't.
