Is it because they're up in the trees and they know you're down there and you can't reach them?
I just (5:25 am EDT) played the sound from the internet of predatory birds and the herbivore and insectivore birds outside my window stopped singing. Ooops. I wonder how long it will be before they think the trees near my apartment are a safe zone again? The insectivores keep the trees safe from harmful insects. It can be important not to overfeed them with those birdseed feeders.
They're back! 5:45 am EDT.
R,F&S? There might be a metaphor here.

What I was wondering was why they suddenly appear every time certain women are near.

What I was wondering was why they suddenly appear every time certain women are near. Imagine if you will a simplicity. I doubt it's that simple though. I wonder why predatory birds screech. I suppose they don't when they're on the attack. Or maybe it stuns and confuses their prey. Would you know? The only predatory birds I've seen are landfill turkeys. *** Here's relevance for R,F&S. The "Holy Spirit" is often depicted in art as a bird, especially a dove.

Is that an attempt at an insult? If so, I will turn the other cheek. If insulting me makes you feel better about yourself then I'm all for it. Attempting to insult someone by insinuating they have mental health problems and/or suffer from addiction is pretty low, but not everyone can have empathy for people who suffer I guess.

Do you mean like "faint praise"? At this distance it is not as insulting as it might otherwise be.

You obviously look down on people with mental health problems and/or addictions, otherwise you would not have made that comment. It's all good. If your God judges others why shouldn't you? Wow.. Self-righteousness feels awesome! I can see why you do it Arlon!

Birds singing is the equivalent of old farts sitting on their front porches and yelling at people to keep off their lawns.
