I don't know. The theory that Hoffa's body was burned to ashes seems more likely if the idea was to leave no trace of remains for his whereabouts and demise to be discovered.

I'm surmising despite how sensational many might find Irishman, unfortunately I feel like that was the reality of Hoffa's untimely disappearance and subsequent demise....

He was whacked in Michigan. Why take him to Jersey? Plenty of places to hide a body up there if you didn't burn it. Lots of woods, several large deep lakes

Regardless of how you feel about Hoffa he met a grisly end we all would never strive for. What I meant was, why do you call his surmised fate in The Irishman unfortunate, as opposed to all the other ways/theories of how he died? But I do agree with you that none of us would strive for any way he met his end.

If you believe Frank, he was a very close associate and confidante of Hoffa and thats akin to a dear friend you know for years who can betray you at the drop of a hat as well. it has parallels with Caesar basically.

See that whole case were the friend group who were friends with a girl and teenagers murdered a friend all because they were jealous(yikes). its poetic and why the whole movie based on such an situation was so compelling as well.
