More feminist junk. I only saw the first 30s so I cannot tell if the rest will be filled with forced diversity and normalised homosexuality but I would expect the whole parade.
The scum can go wipe itself.

Watched episode 3...am loving it right now. Particularly the pacing. The only thing is i kind of wish Perrin ran into Elias or whatever his name is from the books. He's a character who explains Perrins relationship to the wolves. Maybe theyre saving that for later i dont know.

Episode 5....Really great. I don't know if it's clear to anyone watching but a large focus being on a warder who has lost his aes sedai is more than just grief. Theres a literal magic connection that is made between warders and aes sedai and when that bond is severed it really screws people up. It's stated in the books its very common for warders to hurl themselves off mountains after losing their aes sedai. I didn't really enjoy the grief scene at the end though...maybe because it had the whole Marky Mark smacking his chest in Fear vibes to it. Rand and Mat seeing the false dragon Logain, and Logain seeing them...pretty good. Wish they made it obvious that it wasn't all just in Mats head though. Also wondering when they'll reveal whats causing Mats current sickly state. Egwene and Perrin and the Whitecloaks was great. Loved that the wolves attacked, loved that Perrins eyes started changing, loved how creepy the whitecloaks are especially the main one. They really have become a bigger antagonist at this point than the fades and trollocs. The Tinkers make me laugh also. I find their gypsy/hippie way of life far more entertaining in the show than in the books. In the books it constantly feels like people are trying to get them to just defend themselves and maybe that will happen more as the show goes on, but right now i really enjoy their resolve to be pacifists in the face of violence. Aram works for me too. Glad to see him bonding more with Perrin here. Lest i forget the Ogier Loial!!! His appearance isn't how i pictured him...i dont think many did in fact...but his voice and line delivery is spot on. He is so Loial. Such a great loveable character there. He's basically all about learning and friendship and despite looking brutish and monstrous (in the books) he's very passive and kind. He's one of my faves from the novels.
Overall very solid episode that keeps building this world.

This is actually a pretty great show. Considering how massive and plodding the books were, I'm surprised at how well they've managed to capture the necessary information while still moving at a decent pace. I admit the racial bending of characters is quite heavy-handed, but the show is good enough that I can look past this. Well, most of the time anyway.
Still, I liked the first 4 episodes of this more than I liked the first 4 episodes of GOT or even the Witcher, and that means it ranks pretty high up on my list of shows.
