Tragic that one of the directors went from this, Hunchback of Notre Dame, plus Atlantis: The Lost Empire to The Bobble-Heads Movie.

What do you think of that live-action remake with Emma Watson?

It's one of my favorite Disney films, excelling in nearly every category from memorable characters, timeless music, and beautiful animation. Happy 30th birthday. The best movie about Stockholm Syndrome I've ever seen More like Lima Syndrome. This is a more appropriate label because it was the Beast who realized he needed to change. Belle, in no way, exhibited symptoms of Stockholm syndrome. She never had to adjust her behavior or way of thinking to sympathize with the Beast. She refused to tolerate the Beast's abuse from the start and only fell in love after the Beast decided to change for her.

My favourite of the classic animated Disney films. One of the best love stories ever told.

Don't think I've ever watched it in one sitting. I wear it like a bizarre badge of honor.

The best movie from Disney's Renaissance Period of the 1980's-1990's, although some would make a case for The Lion King. The title tune has become Angela Lansbury's signature song and the secondary characters that keep everything bright and cheerful are genuinely entertaining, unlike the usual annoying sidekicks in so many Disney animated features.
Designed in the style of a Broadway show, which helped when they got around to actually doing it live on Broadway. Can't say I like the inclusion of Human Again, which was cut from the theatrical release and restored on the dvd. Although it expresses the optimism of the enchanted furniture, it isn't a very good song.
