I enjoyed it. It takes a bit to point itself in a direction though. There’s not so much blue screen and more street level action.

First two episodes were quite good, hoping it picks up. I don't know where I would rank it against the other shows just yet.

It's been excellent so far, looking forward to seeing a show where (hopefully) the entire universe isn't at stake. I want a smaller, more personal story, and so far that's what we have here.

So how did Kate Bishop get her powers? From boarding school? I mean if she’s shit-hot with a bow, fair enough, but she’s fighting multiple guys like she’s Black Widow. It’s total bullshit.

The opening scene showed she already had some archery awards when she was 10... then seeing Hawkeye in action would only make her more determined to the skill. The title sequence shows she had other martial arts talents at a young age. At one point it shows her with a yellow belt, then later with a black belt.

Some parts of the fight at the auction or shooting the fire extinguisher shows she's talented but inexperienced, like how she grabbed onto the pipe that fell or how the extinguisher shot around like she didn't expect, so I think it's working.

Three episodes in and this is easily my favorite Marvel Disney+ show to date. I read this article this morning and I couldn't agree more. I've always been a fan of the character despite his limited role, he's probably my second favorite Avenger behind Cap. I don't understand why they didn't do more with his character (in terms of abilities, personality, anything) if they were going to bother to include him at all. The show is giving us the Hawkeye we deserved, and the material Renner deserves as an actor. |

Yeah the show's made it abundantly clear how she acquired all of her skills and it shows that she still has more to learn. They have done as good of a job with it as anything I've seen before.
