I'm torn between; -- a BLT ... with the "L" being Iceberg. No other lettuce enhances a sandwich/burger like it. I like whole wheat toast, with plenty of Mayo. and -- a Reuben, either corned beef, or pastrami. For this I like rye toast. There is a new place that opened a few blocks away, called "Ham and Cheese." And, that's, essentially, the kind of sandwiches that they sell. It's the only eatery that I'm aware of that opened DURING the pandemic lock-down. I haven't been there, yet, but their Reuben is a bit different, in that they add Jalapeno peppers on it. We'll have to negotiate that away, or no deal. Jalapenos have their place, but it isn't in a Reuben sandwich. A funny thing is that I tend to think of trying them on Mondays or Tuesdays ... like today. Those are the two days that they're closed. Sooner, or later, it will come to be.  |

They're not bad. I would rate them about a 6 out of 10. I don't eat there very often because most of their menu items are just slightly above average.
Blimpie is my favorite spot to just get a sandwich from but JD has a variety of things but again, they're just not that great.

Their vegetable soup is really good. the chicken tortilla soup is good too
