Like with Part 1 it's lengthy (3 hours) and covers about 7-8 days for the group, but it's still entertaining. You see the group more putting together the Let It Be songs and preparing for their rooftop concert.
The first part deals with the group working around George's departure and later bringing him back. You can definitely see in Paul's face the sadness of George not being in the group. There is a memorable moment where we get to listen in on a secretly recorded conversation between John and Paul about George leaving. We also hear how the band is in disarray because of the departure. After the guys talk George into returning, we see the group go from Twickenham Studio to Abbey Road studios. Once there, the group continues to work on Let It Be songs, write, record, jam, make jokes, eat, smoke regularly, work on Abbey Road/solo songs, etc.
The second half involves the band recruiting Billy Preston for keyboards which boosts band morale and helps enhance the Let It Be songs. It's fascinating to see how the band in this part writes songs, makes adjustments, listens to playback, etc. The band also goes from doing a TV special in a certain location to deciding to play on the roof of Abbey Road studios and prepare for it.
While Part 2 isn't that much different than part 1, you do get a deeper look at the camaraderie, friendship, and chemistry in the band as band members and friends. Seeing them working on songs in-depth is the highlight here.

The private conversation was awesome (thanks to a planted mic)
I was surprised to hear Paul tell John "You're the boss and always have been"
It's also odd how EVERYONE (band, George Martin) complain about the acoustics - which is SO important when recording, but you had that annoying Hogg hoggin' it up, trying to immerse himself, yet, sounding so out of touch, just wanting to hear himself talk.
Cool to hear John talk about this new group he heard and how great they were -- Fleetwood Mac. "The singer is really good, but not a screamer"
Very awkward for Paul to wait until George returns to the band, and THEN reads the newspaper article of George quitting. I wonder who the mole was in the studio.
