It premieres on Thursday night at 8 P.M. EST on ABC for an hour special. I'm surprised he's doing this less than 2 months after the shooting happened. He was probably going to do an interview one day about the shooting eventually. www.yahoo.com/news/abcs-stephanopoulos-interview-baldwin-set-144709342.html Alec, if you say you didn't pull the trigger, then how could the gun just go off by itself in your hand?

"The trigger wasn't pulled. I didn't pull the trigger."
As someone who has fired a real gun before at practice targets, I can tell you a gun won't fire or discharge in your hand unless you pull the trigger.

I know nothing about guns and have never held one in my life, but is it possible for a gun to go off by itself if the safety isn't switch on or if the weapon is defective?

I can’t stand this doofus. Not even the guy who shot Brandon Lee was given this!!! Why does Baldwin deserve special treatment?

Yuo) is lazy, dumb, perpetually hungry, and basically never wants to do anything other than eat and play video games. Over the course

Alec Baldwin is a worthless sack of shit and I hope the family of Haylana Hutchins sue the fuck out of Baldwin and the studio for acting reckless and having a lack of safety for the film crew. He was the executive producer of that film after all and the one in charge. He failed the most basic level of gun safety/handling by pointing it at a person without making sure it was loaded. He is guilty as hell for that alone. What is also so painfully ironic is that Alec Baldwin has been a long time outspoken critic of US citizens having the right to own firearms and here he finds himself being investigated for accidentally killing a person with a gun. It'd be so funny to me if it wasn't so tragic. www.insider.com/alec-baldwin-opposed-nra-gun-rights-activists-2021-10Without getting too political in this thread, Baldwin's clueless ass needs to know that the VAST majority of gun owners in the US are responsible gun owners. People have a right to protect themselves and not be shamed or guilt tripped by a lot of these smug out of touch hypocritical Hollywood elitists (who all live in high end gated neighborhoods with 24/7 armed security I might add) I actually don't own a gun either (and never have owned a gun in my lifetime). Just haven't felt the need to get one ever because I live in a nice middle class area. I've gone to a gun range a number of times though to just fire some rounds. I've only done that a number of times so I'm not some right wing gun nutjob or anything like that haha. Some of my friends are gun owners though but they are 100% responsible gun owners and have all taken gun safety classes and keep their guns in gun safes so they are out of reach from their children. Alec Baldwin clearly was not acting as a responsible gun owner and left a woman dead and I hope he pays for that.

Also Baldwin’s statement on the 2nd amendment is so fucking stupid, but that’s no surprise coming from a Hollywood liberal. They don’t understand the constitution because their tiny minds can’t understand how it was written. And Baldwin missed the part of the constitution that says “shall not be infringed”.

Another poster on the boards, tried to tell me that a gun can discharge, even if the trigger isn't pulled... But the hammer has to strike the primer to do that...
If I understand how guns work, the hammer has to be pulled back on "purpose"... It can't just flip flop around and casually strike the primer...
So, either, the hammer got caught on something and was pulled back accidentally... or Alec Baldwin pulled it back on purpose...
If it's the latter, why would he do that, if he didn't intend to pull the trigger at some point?
And as for a camera shot of the gun, a set up like that wouldn't make sense... unless your finger was on the trigger... It would be obvious that your finger wasn't on the trigger.
Even if he didn't touch the trigger... He is responsible for pointing a weapon at someone with the hammer cocked.

Lol he says he doesn’t feel guilty and that it’s somebody’s fault but doesn’t know who.
Miserable sack of shit, never liked him but he just became my least favorite in pedowood.

Something tells me that the people here who are so passionately angry over this wouldn’t be as angry if Baldwin liked Trump…

Something tells me that the people here who are so passionately angry over this wouldn’t be as angry if Baldwin liked Trump… So the family of the killed crew member are Trump supporters then. The best away to avoid partisan gloating is not kill your crew member or blame it on Maggie Simpson.

How was that remotely what I said? I’m talking about the people in this thread. You're still making an assumption about people whether here or otherwise. Yes there are probably Trump supporters that are happy but Alec doesn't need the help of Trump supporters here to make him look bad on this issue either. The interview speaks for itself.
