Hmm maybe a stealth best picture contender?. I thought this was gonna get the worst reviews because Spielberg has never directed a musical. I’m glad to hear it’s good though!!! |

In retrospect the blocking and spacing which Speilberg excels at within his movies makes him very aptly suited within such a genre, I'm surprised he never did it at all earlier. |

It’s Steven fucking Spielberg, I’d be shocked if it wasn’t nominated. I mean The Post and Bridge of Spies both underwhelmed, seems like they were waiting for him again to make a bigger and livelier show and try again before rewarding him as well. |
