Too many silly things happening, nothing new to be seen. A 6 for me, although only for the beginning, when things still looked quite good, when I could still convince myself that this was going to be a good movie.

Engineer backstory from an Engineer stumbled over in the original Alien. Check.
Should not have been sold so hard as an Alien prequel, rather a more shared universe side story.
8/10 I quite enjoy it.

Beautiful film to watch but disappointing overall. All the scientists in this film act like idiots. A generous 7/10.

Weyland hired a bunch of jabronis to get him out there. They weren't even told of the truths even after being attacked. |

8/10 or 9/10. It was a 6/10 in 2012, but it grew on me a lot and I love it now. It may have faults, but it's great to see Ridley Scott's vision of this world come to life.
