Reading the Richard Osman one at the moment. Struggling to see how it was such a big success.

I have read and enjoyed two books by this Matt Haig person. I guess I will check out (facile pun intended) "The Midnight Library".

The Thursday Murder Club by Richard Osman is the only one of these I've read. I found it rather mediocre.

I believe the author is something of a TV celebrity in Britain which might have helped with selling the book.

I thought Klara and the Sun was terrific. I haven't read any of the others.

"The Sentinel" is the latest Jack Reacher novel. They are all mostly long and mostly the same basic plot (Reacher through no effort of his own uncovers some skullduggery, engages with it, wins), but are full of inventive mayhem. Plus are very easy to read, indeed, to skim through.
