Grew up listening to a lot of Benny Goodman, my dear old Dad was a huge fan.
My mother's a saxophonist, so I learnt alto sax. My saxophone teacher taught my cousin clarinet and I wanted to learn clarinet because of Benny Goodman. He said, you're learning piano and saxophone, teach yourself.
Nobody can teach Benny Goodman's tone and level of fluency, he was one of the best.
