Norway won 29-22 against France in the final in the Women`s world championship in handball.
Norway have 11 medals in the world championship ( 4 gold, 4 silver and 3 bronze) more than any other nation.
Norway is by far the most successful nation in women`s handball. 14 Gold medals ( 8 gold in the European championship, 4 gold in the world championship and 2 gold in the Olympics)
Norway have a total of 30 medals

Denmark got bronze medal, this was the first medals for Denmark since 2013 when they also got a bronze. Denmark have been in 11 international finals last final they where in was 2004 European championship final when they lost to Norway.
Denmark have won the world championship 1 time in 1997, they have also won the European championship 3 times in 1994,1996 and 2002. and the Olympics 3 times in 1996,2000 and 2004.
