Uefa rules they forfeited final match The match on 9 December was called off following a Covid outbreak, with 13 positive cases at the London club. Uefa then said the match could not be rescheduled and referred the matter to its disciplinary body. It awarded Rennes a 3-0 win and they top the group, with Vitesse runners-up and Spurs finishing third. "We are disappointed by the ruling of the Uefa Appeals Body and the refusal to allow more time for the match to be rescheduled," Spurs said. "We have to accept this ruling, however, and our focus now turns to the competitions we remain in." www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/59725177

If you've got young 'uns, play 'em. They've got two legs and a pair of boots, haven't they? Same for top flight domestic cry-offs. Chelsea trying to get last night's game called off despite a more than £200m starting XI and another £130.5m on the bench. In Chelsea's case, a lack of positional players was no reason to request postponement.
Minimum £1,000,000 fine per cry-off.

5 Dutch clubs in the Knock out phase, that doesnt happen often. Seems the lesser ones have been inspired By Ajax and their success in recent years and of course the Conference League also helps a lot.
