A measly sum, hardly worth the while, although Fort William and many of their fellow clubs in the Highland League would be delighted to play in front of that many fans

Sensible move. Should have done if a while ago though. Doesn’t even kick in until Boxing Day.
The clubs want the Winter Break brought forward to limit loss of funds from gate money.
