location, several hours away, to use as my location? Even Mapquest, which I have corrected (I thought) to my actual location, always chooses this relative's location as mine. My husband's ex-wife has lived there for decades, but I, too, have lived at my location for decades. Has one of her super-smart sons perhaps hacked my computer? Or is this just a normal computer screw up? Edit: alpha128

Perhaps the two addresses are very similar, e.g., 1234 Example Dr. and 1234 Example Rd.? In that case MapQuest could easily get confused as to which one to bring up. And some browsers like to remember previously entered data and will "helpfully" auto-fill forms with their stored data, even if the data is totally wrong for that instance. In any event, it sounds like a normal computer screw up and nothing to worry about.

But I can relax now and just cuss at the stupid thing, and not worry about being hacked. Thanks so much!

I'm assuming that you are keeping your operating system and browsers up-to-date, and that you are running firewall and anti-virus programs. In other words, you've got the recommended foundation for safe computing. If that's the case, I think you can relax and cuss at the stupid thing.
