I thought the WWJD movement was strictly on the liberal side.
I guess both sides of the political and religious spectrum laid claim to WWJD.
But good point.

It’s actually a good thing to practice if a person knows what Jesus taught and not what a pastor told them he said. No one has to be a Christian even. TOTALLY! When I read the Bible in its entirety by myself for the first time, I realized there's a lot in there that's not taught in church, and a lot that's taught in church that's not in the Bible. The Dalai Lama is more of a Christian than many Christians, and I'm sure they can't fathom that. There are scores of people of other religions, and even atheists, who are more Christian than many Christians.

I noticed the WWJD craze died off real quick when someone actually asked the wearers, what would Jesus do? They really don't like the whole "turn the other cheek" thing, they like the "eye for an eye" thing better. For them, WWJD is not What would Jesus do?...but Who would Jesus do?
I'll do you 'child of hell.'

Just changing channels to find something. You see the whole culture. Nazis, deodorant salesmen, wrestlers, beauty contests, a talk show. Can you imagine the level of a mind that watches wrestling, huh? But the worst are the fundamentalist preachers. Third grade con men telling the poor suckers that watch them that they speak with Jesus, and to please send in money. Money, money, money!
If Jesus came back and saw what's going on in his name, he'd never stop throwing up.

I had not noticed this. Can you cite any examples? You know, Jesus said to turn the other cheek, love everybody, and treat everyone the same as you’d treat him. They don’t like that. Obviously, you and I don't know the same Christians. In any case, I have never known any to recoil at the mention of the name.

When you mention Jesus to them. I had not noticed this. Can you cite any examples? You mean from my personal life? Do you have a memory-transfer machine? I'll try to present one example -- Christians who make a big deal of their faith and their religiosity, and when you catch them being not so Christian, such as in the way they treat or judge or condemn other people, and you say something like "God bless you," or even better, "Jesus bless you." Sit back and enjoy the fireworks.

Usually when you catch them red-handed being anti-Jesus hypocrites, which is most of the time now that they decided Trump will lead them to the Promised Land, they will call you Satan. Can I get a Hallelujah and an Amen!
