It has some female empowerment in it right? Or a lot?
That's what I'm wondering really.

Enough to give you more material for future threads. So you're saying, that it has some female empowerment? If so, then it's about damn time that that happened.
As far as i know, in all the disney star wars projects, the one thing that i didn't feel that i got: Was female empowerment. I'm glad that they're finally becoming progressive in that way.

I mean, they (re)introduce Fennec Shand, who is a butt-kicking assassin. She gets to work with Cara Dune, and they girl-power their way through some baddies. They also have two female Mandalorians who work together (with a third Mando, who is a dude) and not only are they kick-arse fighters, but one of the two women is in charge of the group. The four women, at different points, help Din D. over the course of S1 and S2.
You've also got a single mom who turns out to be the only one who can shoot, in a small town, and is ready to defend her town. You've got a woman who owns her own sort of auto-repair type place on Tatooine. There's a female Jedi who is (re)introduced, and she kicks butt and helps Din a little.
There have been a couple bad guys who were women, both of whom could do some damage. In the first season, you meet The Armorer, who seems to be a bit of a leader among the group of Mandalorians, plus she makes the armor, and we get to see her (SPOILER IF YOU HAVEN'T SEEN THE SHOW- SKIP TO THE NEXT PARAGRAPH TO AVOID SPOILERS) kick some serious Imperial butt with only a couple tools while they have armor and blasters.
So yeah. There's plenty of a certain kind of female empowerment. Women being in charge, women with weapons they are fully capable of using. But the main thrust is Din and his little green son.
