prequel trilogy than the sequel trilogy. But here is my question, would you agree that the writing of the line of dialogue that goes 'I don't like sand' had more thought put into it, than anything in the sequel trilogy?

I don't like sand was Anakin sharing his emotions with Padme. Most fannerds didn't get that line and laughed it off because they wouldn't know what to do with a girl if they were near one.

Every line of dialogue in that scene works, if you think about it. just sayin. Especially great is the part, 'i love the water.'

Not much thought was put into either. The PT is a mess that doesn't really work.
The ST is a horror show where the first two films retcon and destroy the OT, then the third film renders the first two pointless.
