Wordle 382 4/6 β¬β¬β¬β¬β¬ β¬β¬π©β¬β¬ β¬π©π©π©π© π©π©π©π©π© I remember when I first started playing Wordle thinking that this word would be impossible to guess. Or maybe I read it somewhere someone saying that. Anyway, here it is, and it wasn't so hard after all. I thought a bit about what would be the hardest word to guess. I think for people who use the concept of βall 5 vowels and the common consonants in the first two guessesβ a challenging word would be βVEXEDβ even if you get - - - E D. βBEZELβ would be much the same. βJEWELβ possibly. βSIXTYβ fits this bill unless you use 2 words where the S,I and T are green (or have to be) after 2 turns. βENNUIβ would be a tough one - most wouldnβt know of its existence, and the spelling is really unique. But the champion would be βIXNAYβ. Very few people would guess an X in position 2 without an E, nor a word that starts with I - N - -

QUEUE is tough. YUCCA. FLUFF. OUVRE.

YUCCA is a good one. OUVRE is interesting - even in American literature Iβve always seen it spelt OEUVRE. ΕUVRE at the very least. Interesting. IXNAY, according to my dictionary, is the only Pig Latin word to gain widespread usage, and has done since the 60βs. So much so, many people use it without any knowledge of Pig Latin at all. QUEUE is much easier than many would think - after 2 guesses many would have used an E and a U - as soon as you get something like U,E,?,?,? with a few consonants gone, your mind immediately goes to QUEUE. Or maybe thatβs just me.

Can't wait until the word is FLUFF. I'm so pissed it took me 5.

So, when it was FLUFF, I played CRANE, SPOIL then BULKY.
U,L,?,?,? with QWTDFGHJZXVM left, but knowing that the U cannot be second.
From here I canβt think of a word that fits that isnβt FLUFF.

Iβve gotten words like PROXY. Words with Xβs in them can slip by. ![:)](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/smiley.png) Once, I was desperate to know where an L would go so I put in LOLLY to break the suspense! ![:)](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/smiley.png)

Wow - I just got my first (ever) win on the second line!!! My first exploratory word is usually HEART. EAR came up as green!! So I didnβt bother with a second exploratory word. I thought for awhile and tried LEARN. Bingo! ![:)](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/smiley.png)

OT: I used to speed-play Yahtzee on my iPad so that I could play dozens of times in one sitting. I didnβt do it every day, but sometimes the speed-play could get pretty extreme. In the middle of this one day, my first five solo turns were Yahtzees!! Five in a row!!! It had to happen eventually, I guess, because I would play so many games. I quit the game shortly after that. I knew it would never get better than this and I could use the bursts of time for other stuff. ![:)](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/smiley.png)

I canβt play just once per day. ![:)](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/smiley.png)

Cool.
Nah, I cheated.
I wanted to look up all the previous solutions to check on any repeated words but the hit I got on Google showed the solution for every day until 2027!!
Just wanted to check to see if it was genuine. Appears to be. I didnβt note any more of the future solutions though β¦ honest!
