For example, Anakin Skywalker, Ben Solo, and more intriguingly, Qui-Gon Jinn?

They weren’t worthy. Only Obi-Wan and Yoda were.

They weren’t worthy. Only Obi-Wan and Yoda were. And Luke and Leia. Interestingly, while you lump in Qui-Gon Jinn with the unworthy, he was the first Jedi to make contact with a living being after becoming one with the Force, at least in the timeline of Episodes I through IX.

I thought Ben Solo did fade? Actually, come to think of it, I actually don't remember. But assuming he did, why him and not Anakin?

Force users need to be trained to combine with the force at the moment of their death, those who aren't don't fade away

I thought Ben Solo did fade? Actually, come to think of it, I actually don't remember. But assuming he did, why him and not Anakin? Probably killing younglings made him impure. I think it’s like in Christianity. I think only Jesus and Mary did it. In SW only the very best get that distinction.
