The score is an interesting new take, with that western sounding element to it. I definitely hear some small sounds from "Star Trek" and "Jurassic World." Composer Michael Giacchino can certainly make an impactful film score and this could be maybe one of his most anticipated film soundtracks to come out he's composed. I'll listen to it when I can, for sure.

I respect when popular film composers do come out with those new takes on an already established franchise. A couple examples are when composer Danny Elfman did the score for "Terminator: Salvation" (which I liked) and when composer Elliot Goldenthal did the score to "Batman Forever" (which I also liked). I like variety when it comes to scores and movies.

I don't know how "The Batman" is going to turn out, but this soundtrack is a sign of it certainly sounding different. Let's hope it works out all-around. (;
