Honestly, the only Joss whedon film I really love is "Cabin in the Woods". Love that flick.

Oh, if I know our good friends over at WB, the reshoots will be quite extensive. ? you mean suicide squad? because that was more of a major re-editing than hard reshoots. Well, here's the thing. Now that there's an actual filmmaker helming the film, Whedon will notice all the shortcomings during the Editor's Cut (the lack of a story, a complete lack of sensible character motivations, and so on, since Snyder films tend to lack anything resembling proper storytelling) and there will be reshoots to improve the final product. And WB being "meddle with it in Post-happy" as they are, will go along with it. |

How horrifying. I totally understand why he would do that, he and his wife need to cope. RIP to their daughter  Hopefully, "Justice League" will be in good hands with Joss Whedon. |

Wow, I might actually go see it now. Hopefully, Whedon gives it as much of the touch that made The Avengers and Age of Ultron so great as he can. You're so insensitive. In the end, it's just a movie. |

I'm wondering if the Batgirl thing was a plow. He was announced to be doing Batgirl a little after Snyder's daughter's death (March). I'm thinking they used Batgirl as an excuse to hide what they were really doing. He did say he wanted to keep it private. But then, at the same time, he says that he stepped down after the movie was shown and they needed to do rewrites. So this could also be a Josh Trank moment (not as bad but still).

I love Joss Whedon's work so much that I am feeling far more callous about this situation than I am comfortable with.
It is an unimaginable tragedy for Snyder...and I truly feel bad for him.
And I felt worse before I saw who was taking over.
But the movie itself can only benefit from it.
