7/10...The central conceit wears a bit thin after a while..

Has a few moments but it's sentimental goo.

7, a good film but probably my least favorite David Fincher film (unless you count Alien3 which he doesn't).

I like it, quite a bit. An 8 for me. Yes, it's overly sentimental, but it worked for me. Two lovers, plagued by their lives never really being in sync, apart from a small part of their lives.
Works for me, an enjoyable movie.

Like 'Forrest Gump' but in reverse -- magical boy looks in wide-eyed wonder at a Baby Boomer's Greatest Hits tour of history.

Good movie 8/10.
One bit I didn't get.
Benjamin is a young man but looks and old one and is taken to a brothel by his friend.
Where one of the tarts takes pity on the supposedly old gentleman, only to discover that Benjamin goes at it like hammer and tongs like any other healthy teenager. Finally the girls says, "who do you think you are, Dick Tracy?"
I thought that Tracy was famous for being a detective, not a lover. So why the comment?
