Ratings- I expect both to be highly rated, so I'll call it a tie
Money- WW
Groundbreaking- Neither.
More excited- Thor. It looks like more fun. WW looks good, but also slightly predictable/by the numbers.

Both seem like they are on solid footing, that's all I can say. Thor will make more money and that isn't really in debate. It won't even be close. WW doesn't seem groundbreaking in any sort of way, while Thor looks to massively expand the MCU, so I have to say Thor. I'm definitely more excited for Thor. I probably won't see WW for a long time even if it is really good.

2. Wonder Woman will definitely make more and that isn't really in debate. It won't even be close. This is the 3rd Thor movie and the first 2 Thor movies weren't good. This is the 1st Wonder Woman movie and all the reviews have been highly positive. Moreover, Lynda Carter made Wonder Woman a very popular character and created many Wonder Woman fans in the 70s and those Wonder Woman fans have been waiting 4 decades to see a Wonder Woman movie.
3. Wonder Woman is definitely more groundbreaking. Thor is just another in an assembly line of MCU movies, which all have a Caucasian male in the lead role. Wonder Woman is the first female solo superhero movie in more than a decade, the first female superhero movie with a $100 million budget, and the first superhero movie directed by a woman. Wonder Woman will be known as the movie that proved it's possible to make a good female solo superhero movie.
4. Definitely more excited for Wonder Woman not only because of the historical and groundbreaking significance of the movie but also because it looks a lot better than Ragnarok.

Beats me, unpredictable; hip shot: WW average rating around 7, Thor around 7.5 to 8 (but could be a complete failure as well), maybe a tie.

Thor as it is currently the bigger IP and WW is just starting out - and she is a female hero which in the past was an severe disadvantage in this sub-genre at the BO. - Which movie will be more ground breaking? Artistically: none. Politically and commercially maybe WW because it may very well be the first successful superheroine film after bombs like Supergirl, Catwoman, Elektra.- Which movie are you more excited for? I won't watch either in theaters. But WW hands down. Thor not so much, I am a lover of Norse mythology and consider it an abomination how they dumbed down, bastardized and trivialized these great mythological characters and tales. Then again I hear WW has ties to ancient Greek mythology ..  ... Cheers |

I'd say I'm equally excited for both of them. I don't expect either of them to be particularly 'ground breaking,' though I'd probably give the edge to WW if for no other reason than it has the potential to be the first quality superhero film featuring a female lead. I don't worry about ratings or box office as long as they do well enough in both categories not to embarrass the genre.

Simply because this will be the stand out Thor movie and its made by Taika Waititi. That guy is brilliant. 2. I am thinking Wonder Woman. DCEU movies make money, even when they are shit (and boy, they are). Wonder Woman actually sounds like a good movie so yes it will make more than Thor Ragnarok because he brings along the weight of two average movies. That will hurt the box office for Ragnarok 3. To me it will be Wonder Woman. First major female led superhero film. 4. Thor Ragnarok. Because MCU > DCEU to me. |

1. Wonder Woman. Critics will feel bad giving it a low grade because it's female-led.
2. Thor. It's a Marvel movie, the trailer looks fun, and Hulk is always a plus.
3. Neither. They're comic book films. We get 10 a year just like them.
4. Thor. I feel like Wonder Woman is more for the female comic book fans, and I'm not included in that category. There's nothing wrong with that, it just isn't for me.
