It was entertaining and a lot more alien action but it just wasn't nearly as good of a movie as Prometheus. I acknowledge the flaws in its script but it was still much more artistic and well rounded than Covenant. Prometheus was just a beautiful tribute to Alien. This had some pretty good intense scenes though and of course Fassbender was amazing. Too inconsistent in pace and tone though to be memorable, it got me all geared up w the first appearance of the creature but then just dropped me for an indefinite amount of time. It never really recovered from that.

Yes. It's a better movie. Way more memorable scenes. It's scarier. The effects, the action etcTthe first movie never quite showed the threat and full potential of the Xeno. |
