I doubt it. Streaming is more convenient. Also, the market for a LaserDisc comeback is just not there. You have to purchase a player and the disc separately, and the disc is quite larger than a DVD or Blu-Ray disc.

I would say it already happened. There was a minor resurgence of interest in laser discs ... 18-20 years ago ?? Probably around the peak of illegal file sharing. When people were ripping laser discs, vcd's, and svcd's, and sharing them in divx. But streaming is way more convenient.

Hell no. It's a dead technology that wouldn't offer anything dvds and blurays can't.
Other than taking up more space on shelves.
