An extended look at Spider-Man Homecoming
I know that all of the kule kids have decided to be lukewarm on this. Me, personally? My heart is ready.

Suffice it to say, spoilers ahead. I'm glad you're psyched!!!! And I'm actually loving the idea of getting back to Earth and finding out what this Spidey is all about.
I have not seen any further trailers, so I think you just put up some minor spoilers, but I get it, the trailer is out. I just do everything I can not to watch anything but the first teaser.

Suffice it to say, spoilers ahead. I'm glad you're psyched!!!! And I'm actually loving the idea of getting back to Earth and finding out what this Spidey is all about.
I have not seen any further trailers, so I think you just put up some minor spoilers, but I get it, the trailer is out. I just do everything I can not to watch anything but the first teaser.
Apologies for posting the teaser directly, I should have put it under a spoiler tag. That said, IMO, it's an excellent extended look. I love this new approach to the web crawler. At the same time, I can understand if people are jaded when it comes to Spider-Man in general. My only gripe with the teaser is the suit's AI. I don't know what people want from a Spider-Man movie these days, and honestly, I don't care. Characters like Carnage and Venom are shit. There, I said it. They are the product of overzealous artists who usurped the authority of Editors and Writers and created characters that were all style and no substance. Fuck em, Sony can have them. Well I didn't really pay any attention to Garfield's run at all. I did watch Amazing 1, and liked his attitude much more than Tobey's increasingly whiney performance. I hated the "I love, I love you not" crap from that first series. But the first series was better. Amazing 1 was basically just Spiderman 2. It's the same film, and I never bothered to see Amazing 2.

I don't have a problem with him at all. I just don't like the awkward teen romance stuff they made him do. They kept putting him in these crybaby situations and I wish they hadn't. |
