barnes and nobles looking rough, like only a few people here. Talked to a sales associate who was just standing around. They cannot get inventory and a lot of empty shelves. And I am at a flagship location in Alexandria VA. RissaThe stuff they do have is so expensive compared to the A place. I love going to Barnes & Noble, but I admit I pretty much buy books via my kindle. 😔 I hope they don’t go out of business. Maybe we’re just getting stupider as humans and younger generations are less likely to pick up a book because of the smartphone. Are you back in Virginia yet? Today's weather is fantastic.

I haven’t bought new books in a while — too expensive and I have little to no room. The last brand-new book I bought was online: a paleoart book featuring Jay Matternes’s paintings of prehistoric North America.
Lately I’ve been buying used books from the charity shops. The other day I got a 1940 edition of the complete Percy Bysshe Shelley poems; inside was written: To Mary - Christmas 1942 From Mum & Dad with love I can only imagine Mary has since passed.
Movies I get either from eBay (used) or new from the shops (when they’re on sale).
Music I order online (haven’t done so in years—I have shit-tons of CDs I haven’t even opened) or download various stuff from YouTube (audiobooks/DJ sets/albums/etc.) using an add-on, then convert the video to MP3 using DVDFab, then transfer the file to iPod.
