Per Sports Illustrated -
Peyton and Eli's nephew is leaning towards -
'Bama Georgia Texas
Little disappointed in this - smart move staying out of his Grandfather and 2 Uncles shadows and not attending Ole Miss and Tennessee - but I was hoping maybe he'd attend a smaller SEC school (like Vandy - talk about an underdog story) - would make it easier to root for him - but I hope he succeeds none the less.

He will pick Georgia or Alabama. He doesn't care for college as much as padding his resume for the NFL. So I'd bet Alabama.

Be smart for an XFL team to go gunnin' for this kid too to promote the league, no?

The more I think about this the more I love it.
Arch Manning as the face of the XFL - they need a name
There's your name - a Manning
Go to this kid and offer him lets say - $250,000 a year for 2 years - that way he's making half a million
That way he has every option to go to the NFL when he's 20 if the NFL like what they see - or - if the XFL explodes he just resigns there
New York City has an XFL Team correct?
You put him on New York's team - the biggest market in the United States
Arch Manning in New York - as the face of the XFL
It's all about sales and marketing. Sell, push and market this kid to the moon - posters and billboards everywhere with Arch and an XFL logo - advertisements everywhere.
He's the first big name to go - others will follow
The kid gets to make money and showcase himself in the meantime

Bryce Young has an $800,000 NIL deal at Alabama, a deal which will go up during the season. Yeah, $250,000 a year to play in a "league" that won't last a year and where he has no one to throw to or to block for him is quite attractive. He would be better off going to Vanderbilt.

Alright 3 million a year
To be the face of the league - in New York City - he's got an out after 2 years if he wants to go the NFL
To me it's a no brainer for the XFL
They need a name
It's a Manning - it sells itself - give the kid the moon and the stars
Plus the kid could always go back to school later if things don't work out for him - like a lot of kids do

John Daly's kid has an NIL deal as an Arkansas golfer from Hooters.

My next move if I'm The Rock -
We have a team in Dallas - the Dallas Renegades
Look at this kid - Cade Klubnik - he's from Texas and has Texas written all over him
Ranked the #1 QB Prospect heading into next season a 18 years of age according to 247 Sports. He's committed to Clemson.
That doesn't mean we can't swoop in and convince him to sign a lucrative deal to play in his home state for the Dallas Renegades.
You market and sell this kid to the moon - Cade posters everywhere promoting him as the #1 QB Prospect in the country - so now we have a Manning in New York as the face of the league and Cade in Dallas
This train is rollin' now folks....

Itβs ridiculous to get so hyped up over a QB whoβs still in high school. Who knows if he will even be any good in college, heβs just getting publicity because of his last name, and Iβm not a fan of that. Nothing against him but Iβm inclined to root against him because of the media circle jerk surrounding him.

Cowherd Bomb - Arch chooses Texas Very cool - - getting UT back on the map is great for college football. Probably saves Sarkisian's job.

I'm inclined to root for him as he didn't ask for the media circle jerk. They've been on him since he was in middle school. That's a lot of pressure to put on such a young kid. Only seen him interviewed a few times but he seems grounded and like he's handling it well. He hope he lives up to the hype as the hype isn't his fault.
