Louis C.K. Is he a good comedian?

I dig Louis C.K.

I'm glad that you mentioned Burr and Gaffigan (two of my favorites), but I think CK does a different thing. He reminds me of George Carlin at times (though nobody's going to top George in my eyes). He's damn close though. I'd love to see him pull a Robin Williams/Jim Carrey/Steve Carrell and try his hand at a dramatic role. Skeptics should check out his show on FX, "Louie." Dude's got chops for days.

It doesn't matter.  I just mentioned Barr's name because most people have heard of her.  Any person interested in the story would be curious to know if any other "celebrities" had made accusations against C.K.  I'm just letting people know there were no other known names involved. You chose not to give any details so why are you suddenly so interested in how I decide to give details?  Also why project your feelings onto others?  Are you seriously that pathetic?

You don't understand why I asked how you feel about Barr?  She is the one making the accusations and trying to get attention drawn to it.  Are you really as stupid as you seem?  It's not very hard to follow.  Also I wanted to see how much of a hypocrite you are and you are exactly like I thought you would be.  


Do you hate all Mexicans or just the ones you deem to be guilty based on what Roseanne Barr said? Let me guess. You're not really a racist, huh?  Why are guys like you always so damn typical?    It would seem like a few of you would try and be slightly original.  

Louis CK ancestry is largely Hispanic and he spent his childhood  in Mexico where his Father was born.  It's odd that for guys like you everything is about race until the spotlight is on yourself.  I can tell you from experience that racism against Hispanics is a very real thing although I'm used to that being denied by white liberals like you who insist only African Americans are allowed to claim it.  Similar to the way you feel a male like C.K. can't be the victim despite being the one whose reputation is being impugned without a shred of evidence.

You're suggesting I never met a silly clueless white kid that only interacts with other silly clueless white kids?  In your mind, left leaning overwhelmingly white communities where faux OUTRAGE is mandatory and practiced daily by guys who look and act exactly like you are somehow unique?  Sadly that is so far from the truth it's perplexing that even YOU could suggest such an idiotic premise.  The world would be a far better place if you and your ilk were not so common though.

Also for at least the fourth time you suggest that "it's who publicised the accusation that actually matters, as if the merit of the accuser determined the truth of the allegation. That is not so, at least to my way of thinking. Perhaps it is to yours.

At no point in any of my posts did I say that or in any way even imply it yet you continue to bring it up.  That is the definition of projecting. 

In the meager amount of time I spent reading about the allegations you were so anxious to bring up in this thread the defenders of Louis CK as well as those who simply say the accusations are false far outweigh the handful of people who say he made rude comments and enjoyed masturbating in the privacy of his dressing room.  Yet you SEEM to lean towards believing Barr.  She has made some very bigoted and hateful comments which is why I brought up the question of her character.  You have no problem with her bigotry.  That is your right.  Perhaps you are kindred spirits.


Perhaps he does those things.  Perhaps he doesn't.  Barr herself admits she never saw or heard him do anything. Perhaps the handful of women that suggested he was rude to them are being honest.  Perhaps they are trying to get some attention at the expense of a well known person. Barr has only been in the news of late when spewing bigoted vitriol or making accusations.  Perhaps that's why she suddenly needed to defend those possible victims of rude comments.  Perhaps she did actually care about repeating some stories she heard thirdhand for more valid reasons.

Perhaps we will know for sure one way or the other one day.  I'm still confused about why you would even cryptically mention any of it when you were obviously too gutless to give any details.  Also I'm confused why you (after being so cowardly for some bizarre reason) would try and argue with me when I did explain the "scandal" you brought into the conversation.

Louis CK is hilarious.

I have only seen one comedy special of Sykes and it was one of the funniest things I watched.

Not big on Schumer or Cho although Gaffigan is OK and clean.

Well, the one comedy show I saw was one of the funniest things I've seen.

Nothing Carlin said was the funniest I've heard or seen.

That's not to say that Carlin is a bad comedian, only that he is a comedian I don't care for. I know he's a genius and groundbreaking and yada, yada, yada...

YOU were the one who didn't want to talk about the accusations.  Please tell me what this IS about since you want to drop cryptic vague charges.  You're being very unclear.  All I can gather is you think C.K. is guilty of "something" simply because Roseann Barr said she heard from a friend of a guy who knew a girl who had a cousin that said Louis C.K. may have jerked off in his dressing room.  That seemed a ridiculous and very flimsy reason to impugn the guys name.  It seemed clear to me you have other reasons not to like the guy but you obviously don't want to talk about them so it's pointless to continue this conversation.
