Probably the X-wing. I'm old enough to have been around for the first generation of Star Wars toys.

Mine was probably this:- Sure I had the Millennium Falcon, Luke's Landspeeder, Tie Fighter, etc but this was slightly nuts, and probably unique, among the toys in looking absolutely nothing like what it was supposed to be! But then I guess how could it? It would have to be the size of a room to scale with the figures 😂. Still it was fun to have Darth sat in that little helmets off private chamber of his...

Probably the X-wing. I'm old enough to have been around for the first generation of Star Wars toys. I take it back. My favorite was probably the speeder bike. If there was one fictional piece of equipment I wish was real, it's probably the speeder bike. Even more than a lightsaber. Nah, I wish lightsabers were real. Just think of the time you'd save on yardwork/home improvement projects.

I think it was a little R2D2 figure from the first STAR WARS film... I might've had one or two others, but I can't remember. I'm into SF, but I was never a huge SW fan.

I wasn't a kid anymore, but I did buy a remote control BB-8.

Haha I just realized the Stormtrooper figure in the case has broken limbs. Reminds me of the C-3PO I had (same as the one pictured) that eventually had his legs so wobbly from play that he couldn't stand on his own. My Darth Vader figure was missing his cloak and his lightsaber was broken/wouldn't slide out from his arm anymore. My toys got heavy use. Good times haha. The Jawa figure pictured above is the old school version too! I remember they replaced the cloth one with a plastic cloak that was just part of the figure and wouldn't come off. I didn't understand as a kid why they changed it, but apparently (according to Plastic Heroes: The Story of Star Wars documentary) it was because the cloth version was too expensive to make. The all plastic one looked like this:

"Coolest"? I guess that's debatable...I had the Y-Wing Fighter: and the Speeder Bike: But I didn't really play with those. I was just happy with the figurines.I had these original figurines: Darth Vader Storm Trooper (2?) Scout Trooper Boba Fett Jawa Luke - ROTJ Luke? - X-Wing ( Not sure. I had a fighter figure to use with my Y-Wing fighter) R2D2 Yoda (With Snake) C-3P0 & Chewbacca ( Not Sure How They Came, but I could do this with them):

My Rose Tico action figure. Just think of the endless possibilities of adventures she can get into! Icon. If it were a Rey action figure, she would have complete adventures all by herself!

As a kid, probably either the pod racer with Ani, or the Yoda-on-his-Council-chair that was basically a Magic 8 Ball, but all the phrases were tailored to sound like Yoda's way of speaking.
As an adult, probably the Ewok Village Lego set. It was like 500+ dollars originally, and I found it on a clearance rack, greatly marked down because 1)they'd had it in stock for over a year and 2)the box was badly damaged so they weren't even sure it had all the parts. So I got it for about 40$, and there was only one part missing and it was one I had, so I didn't even have to write in to Lego to get a replacement piece. It's huge! When I built it, it covered the entire coffee table I had it on.

Literally sitting on the shelf in that box across the room as I type. It was opened in the past and assembled but whoever owned it kept it pristine and I got it for Christmas back in 96 or 97. Only serious damage to the box was the spot where somebody cut out the proof of purchase points on the side of the box so it's got a hole.
I still remember getting the Y-Wing for Christmas in either 84 or 85 along with the speeder bike. The Y-Wing was my favorite of the full size vehicles but the speeder bike was just ideal for those long car trips.
