Disney saved you 3 hours of sleep
. . . . . . . . . . yikes, the series totally redeems Jake Lloyd's acting

I wonder why they keep changing its release date/time? This is the third switch now.

That poster is a little try-hardy.

Only saw the first episode so far. Some of the acting isn't great (there's a reason why Flea is known as a musician and not as an actor), but I really dig it. I had no idea Leia was part of the series (was that openly known already?), but she's adorable as hell.

First episode was okay. It was a little slow and some of the costumes look cheap, but other than that I didn't hate it.

She obviously sends him a message in ANH.

SPOILERS:I watched the two episodes. It was enjoyable nostalgia. I was surprised I enjoyed it as much as I have. It's nice to see the PT get some love with this miniseries. The recap of the PT at the start of the first episode was great. It showed all the right clips to set the tone of the series. Ewan McGregor slipped easily back into the role after all these years, and just like with the PT, he commits fully to whatever is happening in the scenes - he kind of reminds me of Mark Hamill in that way. I've always appreciated that about him. The rumors about Leia turned out to be true. It was a good excuse to get Obi-Wan out of the desert and my complaint about Obi-Wan leaving Luke has been pacified. Leia seemed really small for 10 years old! I thought she was suppose to be younger but that wouldn't match up with the timeline. I suppose she does grow-up to be a rather small woman too. The acting of the little girl playing Leia wasn't the best in her first few scenes (lwhen she's in the tree, with her adopted mother). She got better when she was in scenes with Ewan (the same way Hayden's acting got better when he shared scenes with him too in the PT). I didn't have an issue with the pacing of the show. It should be slower than other Star Wars projects as Obi-Wan becomes more and more "old Ben" that we knew from the OT. The cheapness of the costumes reminds me very much of the OT (like the Episode 4 cantina sequence), so I didn't have an issue with it. I actually find it rather endearing. Also it's great to see more of the Alderaan uniforms. I'll always have a soft spot for those due to them being some of the first Star Wars costumes we ever saw. I liked the little nods to the PT and OT. Like Obi-Wan gifting Luke the familiar toy ship. Obi-Wan still having his Eopie (the one he delivered Luke to Owen/Beru on at the end of Episode 3).
