Did anyone here watch The Queen's Gambit? Was Moses Ingram this terrible in that show? That's where I've seen her before! I was trying to place her haha. I thought she did a good job in The Queen's Gambit. Natural performance. Her character in that show is written way better than Reva too. OK. Maybe she's just really a bad fit for this role. The writing doesn't help. When she was about to torture Leia, she felt off while the little Leia actress was acting her ass off. It was a mismatched performance for sure....

I love one of the comments that points out that they even had Leia peak out from Obi-Wan's coat just incase we cannot work out where she is 😂. Reminds me of movies where the character is using an earpiece (often undercover), but the filmmakers are worried the audience won't get it (too stupid clearly), so they have the character put a finger up to his/her ear to broadcast to us what's going on...as if everyone else in the scene wouldn't notice that. It made me laugh when Casino Royale came out as there's a moment where Bond (played by Daniel Craig) corrects another character that's doing that. Then the character gets killed for being so foolish, which is exactly what would happen.

Or in Predator, where we see from the creature's POV that Arnold is invisible to it because of the mud. But, to make sure the ausience gets it, Arnold looks right at the camera and says, "He couldn't see me!"

It’s almost as if they only wrote one episode. Then divided it into 6 parts and filled it out with bloopers and story treatments from their kids.
Has their been one episode where somethingt hasn’t happened that left you with a dumbstruck look on your face?

I don't agree with some of the criticisms here. -Ben being out of touch with the force is a plot point. You might not like that plot point, which is totally fair, but it's not like the filmmakers just forgot he's a Jedi or something. And there's no doubt it's setting up an arc where he comes back swinging.-I think Vader let Obi-Wan get away on purpose, "thrill of the hunt" and all that. And Obi-Wan being so weak now, Vader probably thinks he won't get far. That's just my interpretation, though. -I was skeptical about having the two meet again between trilogies, but I guess it makes sense. It's always been a criticism that the scene where they meet in ANH as bitter rivals doesn't really mesh with their emotional and tragic final scene together in RotS. That said, it's....still not a good show. The acting outside McGregor is weak (some weaker than others), and the direction is plain shoddy. That scene where little Leia (who is clearly younger than 10) scurries away from the fully grown hunters while they trip and fall like teenage camp counselors in a Friday the 13th movie shall go down as an all time So Bad It's Good scene. Sl Speaking of Leia, I guess we can add her "Help Me, Obi-Wan" message to the list of things from ANH that no longer make any sense. If she personally knows the guy and had her own private adventure with him, why formally introduce herself and how he "served her father during the Clone Wars"? How about "remember that time you saved my life?" Shocked anyone could call the third episode weaker than the first two. As per Rogue One, it's a boring tale full of uninteresting people that only wakes you up when Vader pops in to kick some ass. Not high art, but hard to fuck up. At least now I'm engaged. Yet Obi-Wan took his lightsaber with him - not a blaster, crossbow, staff, etc. It's his best tool to protect himself even if he's a bit "rusty" at it. Trying to find a way to get blasters out of hostiles' hands instead of grabbing for the weapon on his hip was incredibly silly and contrived (just so he would ignite his saber for the first time later in the series with Vader). Obi-Wan doesn't even like blasters and doesn't have as much experience with them. He thinks blasters are inelegant, uncivilized, and not for Jedi - three things he's not that concerned with being and in one case actively avoiding at the start. Not like he doesn't know how to use one, as Grievous discovered. I'm sure he figured he may have to resort to his lightsaber, like if he ran into a Sith... which wouldn't you know it. Stormtroopers are one thing but firing a blaster at Vader would be suicide. This show is hot garbage, but this isnt one of its problems. At least in a Cinema Sins, "Jedi trying to distance himself from the Jedi doesn't act like a Jedi" *ding* kind of way. On the other hand, we already got this story with Luke in TLJ and don't need it rehashed. There was no indication he ever quit the force between RotS and ANH. I think they also wanted that big moment where he "learns" Vader is still alive, which I never knew he didn't know.

It’s been kind of fun reading Reddit (and other fan sites) threads on this show. So many people were eating this shit up for the first few episodes, many completely intolerant of criticism, and now they’re all slowly turning on it. The trench coat bit seems to be the big turning point

The trench coat bit seems to be the big turning point It's good to give it a chance, but for me it was episode 3. We got half way through the series and the only cool thing was Vader snapping a few necks. That's a problem.

Rotten Tomatoes scores have been in a nosedive since episode two. Still 84% though. How is that even possible? Leia under the coat alone makes this show rotten!

So Reva joined the Inquisitors just so she could kill Vader?
LMAO!
She must have been some kind of defective youngling. She cut off the hands of an innocent, was going to kill that Jedi on Tattoine and was going to torture a girl just to kill Vader?
It’s also one of those convoluted plans that relies on too many variables and suppositions to be plausible. It isn’t even interesting. It’s just garbage.

Vader and The Grand Inquisitor are amateurs. They didn’t bother checking to see if Reva was dead. Ah, but they planned that too (probably).
This is shit. And rumours I hear about future plans are also shit. But I won’t spoil those for those who haven’t heard.

Episode 5 was slightly better than 4. Although i feel like Vader would have killed Reva after what she just pulled.

Obi-Wan Kenobi by Mr. Mister
The wind blows hard against this mountainside Across Dune Sea into my soul It reaches into where I cannot hide Setting my feet upon the road My heart is old, it holds my memories My body burns a gem-like flame Somewhere between the soul and soft machine Is where I find myself again Obi-Wan Kenobi down the road that I must travel Obi-Wan Kenobi through the Darkness or the Light Obi-Wan Kenobi Baby Leia, will you follow? Obi-Wan Kenobi on a Spaceship in the night When I was young, I thought of growing old Of what my life would mean to me Would I have followed down my chosen road Or only wished what I could be? Obi-Wan Kenobi down the road that I must travel Obi-Wan Kenobi through the Darkness or the Light Obi-Wan Kenobi Baby Leia, will you follow? Obi-Wan Kenobi on a Spaceship in the night Whoa-oh-oh, whoa-oh-ohh Whoa-oh-oh, whoa-oh-ohh Obi-Wan Kenobi down the road that I must travel Obi-Wan Kenobi through the Darkness or the Light Obi-Wan Kenobi Baby Leia, will you follow? So basically they’re gonna do the WandaVision thing where we are supposed to forget about her sins and cheer for her without any redemption arc? Will she team up with Obi Wan in the finale?
