Then you are a racist, my friend. Also sexist. There can’t possibly be any other explanations.
The Riva/ Obiwan feud will go down in the annals of Star Wars lore as legendary.

...said the person who called Rica (actual name, Reva) a "diversity hire". When there is one glaringly weak link in a show by a company who has had various leaked recordings confirming their Uber-wokeness then yeah, chances are it’s a diversity hire. Anyway, answer the question, do you like the character or not?

I wouldn't say more interesting but I did find Riva underwhelming as a villain.
Also isn't Grand Inquisitor alive in Star Wars Rebels and isn't this supposed to take place before Rebels?

I wouldn't say more interesting but I did find Riva underwhelming as a villain. Also isn't Grand Inquisitor alive in Star Wars Rebels and isn't this supposed to take place before Rebels? I like the fact that she brutally amputated the hand of that woman. It puts the ‘wars’ back into Star Wars. But it’s like Disney is crawling ever so slowly to a post-woke world and we have to endure every painful step before they reach something that already existed in the cinematic past. First their minority Star Wars characters were either Mary Sues (Rey) or bland comic relief (Finn). Then they were just horribly written (Rose). Now finally they are giving us a truly evil (even if she finds some redemption or turns good, she can’t be fully redeemed) minority antagonist but she just doesn’t fit. You can’t tell me that her scenes are as gripping as those with the Grand Inquisitor. That’s my gripe. Put diversity where it fits or else it really comes at a cost. I’d be saying the same if the villain was a white woman or an uninteresting guy of any colour. But because it’s a minority character that isn’t working I think it is diversity casting which led to the failure. It’s like they’re at the stage where they’re saying ‘we have a minority actor but she isn’t a token because she can be very evil’. Fine, but that means little if she sucks.

Here’s the thing about the Inquisitors - they’re not good force-users or duelers. They are essentially force-sensitive beings that can point a platoon or the actual threat, Darth Vader, toward Jedi. Obi-Wan could take on all four of them and win. Easily. Proof of this is in Rebels, where the Grand Inquisitor is killed by Ezra and Kanan (which is also odd considering Riva apparently just killed him). If he even struggles a little bit in some kind of lightsaber duel with any of these clowns, it’ll be embarrassing. Though I expect that will almost certainly happen.
