Obviously some storylines may not be possible due to Film rights, but what would you like to see as a future storyline that could either play out in phase 4 or beyond?
Me personally I would like to see Dark Reign done, especially if we get Norman Osborne in a future Spider-Man film.

I want to see a return to smaller scale events, villains, etc. Don't try to make every villain a Thanos level threat. Norman Osborn is a great suggestion.

I agree, i hope they don't go with an galactic scale threat in phase 4, i would rather see them go with a team of villians.

I want to see them build up to a massive showdown with multiple villains.

I would love to see Annihilation.
Keep the Earth heroes doing whatever you want to, they don't even need to be aware of what's happening in space, but do a separate Annihilation story with the Guardians and perhaps Nova and others like Moondragon, Quasar, Phyla Vell, etc. I don't think anybody knows about the rights to Annihilus, and if you're one of those who assume he's with Fox, I think you're guessing unless you've heard something official. He might be, but if they can use him, I'd love to see that. And you don't need Surfer or Super Skrull either. It's be just perfect with the characters above, and likely others they could bring in like Warlock, Starhawk, and others.

I actually like that idea! The Guardians of the Galaxy films can do big epic space stories and The Avengers should do a earth scaled threat, preferably with a team of Super Villians.

They don't have to constantly cross over. Let the cosmic people do a big cosmic thing, and the Avengers can deal with some Masters of Evil/ Thunderbolts type of things. Osborne, The Leader, Abomination, Zemo, The Mandarin? maybe even Namor.

Me neither, but there are people who like to race bait and scream racism at stupid shit. He'll look at the "controversy" surrounding the Iron Fist casting of Finn Jones as the title character. Believe me I want the actual Mandarin in the MCU. He could even be a Doctor Strange villian.

Hell, there was even a YouTube video showing Asians being happy with the casting of Sir Ben Kingsley, since he's basically half-Asian, half-English. Just like the real Mandarin in the comics. Not to mention, China recently said that they don't care about having Chinese villains in Hollywood films anymore. So there is no excuse. The irony here is, not having The Mandarin at all caused up more controversy than actually having him.

The funny thing is that it was mostly white men and women who pushed the whole "Racial Insensitive" bullshit. The same jackass's who claim to be so "Progressive". The reality is they're full of shit themselves. I say bring the actual Mandarin in the MCU!

Secret Invasion. It may be too late, but I would also like to see Armor Wars.
As for getting away from big cosmic threats I'd like to see them fight the Masters of Evil and the Super Adaptoid at some point. Maybe bring in AIM to replace HYDRA.

I always preferred AIM over HYDRA. Mostly because they put a smile on my face, due to how ridiculous they are. This should play every time AIM soldiers appear on screen...

I'd assumed MODOK would be some AI After what they did to HYDRA's MODOK, I can see why. But I don't? MODOK is a bit more popular, so Marvel might want to think twice before using MODOK in the MCU.

<abbr>The problem is that there's so many villains Marvel doesn't have the rights to: Annihilus, Kang, Doom, The Skrulls, The S'hiar and Magneto are with Fox. Namor is with...Universal, I think. Marvel also botched some good villains like Ronan, AIM and Mandarin.
Dark Reign doesn't work for a movie, because the beauty of it was watching heroes in their own books reacting to Osborn every month, which doesn't translate well to movies.

I know that a full fledge adaptation wouldn't work, but i figure they could adapt it in a way it would fit the MCU.

I think a World War Hulk movie would have quite a bit of potential.
They don't seem to want to make a Hulk solo movie and I can perhaps see why, he's kinda boring but a movie like this would allow for plenty of others to appear.
It'd be a very different version of events because there'd be no Planet Hulk but perhaps they could kill Black Widow and set it off that way.
