Only 1st division, only confirmed transfers and no-nonsense rumours, focussing on players who have somewhat of a name.
FC Bayern: Incoming: Süle and Rudy from Hoffenheim (confirmed), Felix Götze (from Bayern II), Goretzka from Schalke (strongly linked) Outgoing: Badstuber (confirmed; no destination as yet), Alonso, Lahm and Starke retiring; probably Costa.
RB Leipzig: Incoming: Phillips from Freiburg and Bruma from Galatasaray strongly linked. Outgoing: Khedira (confirmed; returning from loan at Schalke; no destination as yet), Selke (very likely).
Dortmund: Incoming: Dahoud from Gladbach, Toprak from Leverkusen (confirmed) Outgoing: Thomas Tuchel and Aubameyang (both very likely), Subotic (returning from loan at Cologne)
Hoffenheim: Incoming: Grillitsch from Bremen (confirmed), Gnabry from Bremen (strongly linked) Outgoing: Süle and Rudy to Bayern
Hertha: Incoming: Lecky from Ingolstadt (confirmed)

If there is no deal on the Griezmann level, they will continue their decline - ah yes, btw., I'm speaking of the FCB. On one hand they bragg how there will be a new policy which has never been before, but on the other hand they're already playing it down; espcecially no adittion to Lewandowski albeit this weakness what one crucial element in our defeat against Real.
Rummenigge is no longer a liability, he has become a bane.

Do you think the Sanchez deal has a real chance to go through? I really doubt that, especially if it means it would break the entire wage structure. Same goes for Veratti, which I find even more unrealistic.

Do you think the Sanchez deal has a real chance to go through? I really doubt that, especially if it means it would break the entire wage structure. Same goes for Veratti, which I find even more unrealistic. Don't we have already a Sanches who failed to live up to the expectations. I hope the deal will fail for in nine out of ten Southrons did and do not well in Munich. I guess it is the climate, the environment, the mentality etc. pp....they don't thrive in Germany. Griezmann is French and much closer to out culture and mentality. ps: and we hve neither the means nor the prestige to beat ManU. The Bundeslige is second class. There is a reason why our second tiears have never won the Europa League. It's not only that Bayern is that good, but that the rest is that bad. Take Bayern out, and you got zero major titles for the BL since the new millenium. It will be hard to sign top players if the climate is not as good as in Southern Europe, the culture and language is less poshy, you got less money, and the league has a rather low standing. And Munich is not even the worst city in Germany and Bayern as club has quite a reputation...but "Ruhrpott"-clubs like Dortmund...they even struggle to keep their top players. Nah, with the mind set of the DFB and the general attitude agianst the money, we will never overcome Spain or England, and even the FCB can't undo this massive strategic deficits. We will become what we were in the 80s and early 90s: the dominating team in Germany, but a by-stander in Europe and the really big names will play elsewhere, while Hoeneß, Bruchhagen, Watzke, Rauball, Rummenigge and Co. will cry and lament about the unfairness of the European business. But it is their denial of the reality what keeps us small, not the European business. ERGO: I couldn't care less who we will sign, for it won't be material like Griezmann (or Sanchez for that matter) but some mediocre players with an assumed top cost-benefit relation - crap. Schnäppchen vom Wühltisch, die die ganz Großen eh nicht wollten. Da weiß man nicht, ob man weinen oder kotzen soll. Aber auf die ALDI-Mentalität eines Rummenigge wird Verlass sein.

Why are you attributing all of this to Rummenigge? Isn't Hoeness just as culpable?

The lesser evil and hardly in charge over the last 2-3 years.
But he is also more talk than walk.

Klopp should know better than to waste his time trying to sign Werner and Keita. It's not happening this summer.
I already said in the other thread that if Dortmund buy Balotelli I'll consider that a new low.
Confirmed: Ricardo Rodriguez from Wolfsburg to AC Milan Maximilian Philipp from Freiburg to Dortmund

Bayer Leverkusen have appointed Heiko Herrlich from Jahn Regensburg as their new head coach.
Schalke have fired head coach Markus Weinzierl. Domenico Tedesco, currently Erzgebirge Aue, is the successor according to Bild. Tedesco, 31, is another coaching product of TSG Hoffenheim. As a youth team coach he took over their U19 team from Nagelsmann when the latter was promoted to the senior team. He then moved to 2nd division Aue and saved them from relegation.

Ah...the low-price solution that will backfire... And where does Sanchez go - the real prize? Edit: Ok, they only threw out 8 mill out of the window... That's how I imagine a Bayern Munich meeting by now:
