Looks cool. I see they're holding off showing the villain Sabbac.

I see they're taking the antihero route. Still, I wouldn't want this to be something where he saves the day in the end and would prefer a more twisted outcome, but with the Rock in the role, I can't see it completely happening. Looks pretty cool though.

I can't say that looks very good, but who knows.

Dwayne Johnson movies are starting to get a little monotonous for me. He's pretty much a Gary Stu at this point, just running around and beating up anyone and everyone who crosses his path. He doesn't do drama and can't really put a lot of depth into his characters. However, he's very charismatic and pretty funny so he's able to still pull it off for most audiences.
However in this movie it seems he'll be running around beating up anyone and everyone BUT he won't be funny. I mean, the last time he tried to do this was with Hercules I think, and that turned out pretty boring.
So far this movie looks visually good, but for some reason I can't quite feel any excitement for it. Hopefully they show more ancient Egypt scenes than modern scenes. It would at least make it a bitt different from other superhero movies out there.

From one of the producers:
"Just from the experience of all the Dwayne Johnson movies we've been privileged to be part of, we're a four quadrant. I mean, we really like to service all demos, all ages, but we had to be authentic to Black Adam and we had to really push," Flynn said. "The violence is real and it can be rough and gruesome in places, but I think the audience will be okay. I think the kids will be okay. There is a huge heart in this movie. And at the same time, you have to have fun. You have to have joy in these movies. And I think even when you see the trailer, you see, there's like even the palette, the colors, the world, it's not as dark as some other movies, but it still has some dark undertones. And I think that's important. The tone I think is what I'm really most proud of with the film. That's hard. Tone is hard."

I do think the DCEU consistently makes better costumes than the MCU... with a few exceptions here and there.

That trailer was pretty lame.
But I still have a feeling itโs gonna be pretty awesome.

Apparently the Peacemaker show already set up the villain organization Intergang and its activities in Kahndaq.

Looks cool. I see they're holding off showing the villain Sabbac. There was a batch of images, of a Pop Vinyl figure of him, released a couple weeks or so back.
