That is a very peculiar category!
Surely they could have found a spot on the list for Agatha Christie's "And Then There Were None", if for nothing else, then for sheer numbers, as it probably sold more copies than all the books on the list combined!

oops ... forgot where I was for a second !  But yeah ..kinda sorta .. a novelization based on the 1932 film First edition available for only $1,800 thefirstedition.com/product/king-kong-2/a novelization as well for later version

I had a copy of the UK edition.
