Is this like French vanilla? this is definitely a first world complaint, but I can rarely find "vanilla" ice cream. There is French vanilla, double vanilla bean, vanilla light, Homestyle vanilla, Fairtrade vanilla, etc. I like "vanilla" ice cream. and it is hard to find. Sorry.. my rant for the day. lol

I can never get myself to buy ice cream where all the flavors have extreme food coloring. Even the chocolate looks suspect.

Neither here nor there, but I wonder if this shot of "ice cream" is actually (instant) mashed potatoes. Usually (though not always) when you see pictures of ice cream in professional photos, ads or commercials, it's really something else like this that doesn't melt as easily as ice cream does sitting in room temperature under bright lights.
