Life is too painful, I think. I also think that it sucks.
Having any interaction with any human is usually painful for me and it sucks. This is a problem that there's no way to deal with.

Talking to people is exhausting. I agree. I'm going to give you the same advice I gave my Brother a couple weeks ago. We all hate our jobs. It's our days off that we have to use to relax. And by relax I mean do nothing. Literally. You can't do anything on your days off.

I imagine it was pretty painful for my mother to give me life, so I try to do the best I can with it.

I think as you get older, things don't bother you as much as they used to. It seems like young people are more sensitive, so they tend to feel things more intensely, both good and bad. When you start to get older, you've been through all those emotions before and learned how to cope with it. Pain kind of wears down over-sensitivity, like dulling a blade, so minor things don't get to you anymore. You can stop caring about what other people think or following the crowd, and just do your own thing. It's definitely one of the perks of getting older.

I'm fairly antisocial most of the time. I'm still trying to master social skills but I always stumble and can't think of what to precisely say when opening my mouth.

I love people! I love social interaction.
It is hard sometimes. I make mistakes, but it is usually great
Practice makes perfect. Isolation makes it worse

Don't you just hate when you drop a jar of olives on your foot? Sure, the fact the jar hit your foot kept it from shattering into a billion shards and forcing you to lock up the cats for their own safety until you could clean up the mess, but boy howdy the pain is something else.

I have a flex schedule so I have to go in the office twice a week. The rest of the week I’m at home working. I am much more effective at home than at the office. Besides the added distractions, just that cold, sterile environment gives me anxiety and I have a hard time focusing. I really hope that my company doesn’t push for us to go back 5 days a week. I don’t find life painful outside of those times. I hate to admit it but I basically just live for my time off. I get to spend time with the family and a little alone time. I sometimes feel that I was born in the wrong era. I know it was a hard life and people typically were a lot less well off, but I often imagine myself living in the late 19th or early 20th century on a farm. It’s back breaking work but you are with your family and the communities are smaller and tight knit.
